Creating commodity codes
Use this procedure to create the commodity codes for your organization.
You must create a commodity structure before you can create a commodity code. Creating commodity structures Ensure that you know the Lawson Application item group that the commodity code belongs to.
Note:
If you import a list of pre-generated commodity codes,
such as those from a subscription service, you may not be required
to follow this procedure. To import the commodity codes, use Lawson
Spreadsheet Designer or the dataimport utility.
