User role Tasks
Admin
  • Sets up security or works with security administrators to define security for Contract Management.

  • Sets up and maintains Process Server processes for Contract Management.

  • Monitors the status of system queues and Process Server.

Contract Administrator
  • Defines contract components, such as groups, companies, commodity codes.

  • If needed, imports data such as commodity codes, contract lines, or retainage payment information.

  • Contributes to and helps maintain a pool of reusable information for events and contracts, such as terms, questions, and templates.

  • Sets up and maintains subcontractors.

Contract Manager or Contract Processor
  • Creates contracts.

  • Approves contracts.

  • Sets up and processes rebates.

  • Defines and applies tiered pricing.

  • Sets up and processes retainage information.

  • Generates reports.

Contract Manager only

  • Creates vendor price agreements.

  • Completes analysis and cost modeling.

  • Sets up suppliers who don't use the Supplier portal.

Supplier
  • Registers their company as a supplier.

  • Maintains contact information for the users in their organization.

  • Views announcements and messages.

  • Reviews contracts for their organization.
