Notes on Security:
This topic does not include detailed information related to security. For information on security, see Lawson Administration: Resources and Security and Landmark Administration: User Setup and Security.
-
Make sure report users have the appropriate access to both S3 (OLEDB access) and Landmark data.
-
Make sure the LBI administrator is assigned to the Admin group in RM.
-
For S3 Enterprise Applications reports, the users security attribute 'LawsonOledbUser' must be set to "ALLOW". The default is "NOT ALLOWED".
-
For Landmark reports, user access to data is dictated by their role and security class assignment. There is no allow OLEDB access flag in Landmark. To verify a users access in Landmark, check if the user can see the detail online in Landmark. If they can see detail, they have access to the data through OLEDB. You can test this by viewing a record in Landmark and then attempt to query the data using OLEDB.
