About security classes and roles in Supplier Portal and Supplier Order Management
Supplier Portal and Supplier Order Management include predefined security classes that allow access to various areas within the application. Security classes are then assigned to roles. Supplier Portal and Supplier Order Management include predefined roles which are associated with appropriate security classes.
The following table lists the security classes and detailed descriptions of what they contain.
The menu items for Supplier Portal and Supplier Order Management appear on both the left side of the home page and on top of the browser page when using menu items.
Security classes
The following table lists the security classes:
Some security classes have specific conditions that restrict access to actions. For more information on each security class, view the security class configuration.

| SupplierAnonymousViewAndRegister_ST | Lets a user who is not yet a Supplier register in Supplier Portal and view information that anonymous users are allowed to see. |
| SCMCommonViewInformation_ST | Gives a supplier access to all records used for selects. |
| SupplierCMAccess_ST | Lets a supplier access menu items and information for Contracts. |
| SupplierContactMaintain_ST | Lets a supplier user update his or her own contact information for a non primary user. |
| SupplierEventAccess_ST | Allows access to supplier to process events. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtInvoiceCreate_ST | Lets a supplier user who is using Supplier Order Management access menu items and information for Invoice Creation. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtInvoices_ST | Lets a supplier user who is using Supplier Order Management access menu items and information for Invoices. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtItems_ST | Lets a supplier user who is using Supplier Order Management access menu items and information for Items. |

| SupplierPrimaryContactMaintain_ST | Lets the primary supplier user maintain a supplier and supplier contacts for the processes that are unique to the primary contact. |
| SupplierSharedInformation_ST | Allows access to processes that can be performed by both primary and non primary supplier contacts. |
Roles
Security classes must be assigned to a role so that users can access the application. The following is a list of predefined roles for Supplier Portal and Supplier Order Management.

| SupplierAnonymous_ST | Outside user who can view an event but is not logged in to the system as a supplier. |
| SupplierCMAccess_ST | Supplier user who can view contract information, including subcontractors and terms negotiation. |

Supplier user/contact who is registered as a contact but is not the primary contact for the supplier. Note:
This role is automatically assigned to a supplier contact when they are registered and are not the primary contact. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtAllAccess_ST | Lets a supplier user who is using Supplier Order Management access all menu items and information. This does not include access to contracts. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtInvoiceCreate_ST | Supplier user who can create invoices. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtInvoices_ST | Supplier user who can view invoice information. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtItems_ST | Supplier user who can view item information. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtOrders_ST | Supplier user who can view order information. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtPayments_ST | Supplier user who can view payment information. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtPerformance_ST | Supplier user who can view vendor performance information. |
| SupplierOrderMgmtReceipts_ST | Supplier user who can view receipt information. |

Supplier user/contact who is registered and is the primary contact for the supplier. Note:
This role is automatically assigned to a supplier contact when they are the first user to register a supplier |
Templates for security class and role assignments
There are no specific rules regarding the assignment of security classes to roles; you can assign any class to any role you create. However, the delivered assignments are samples of starting points for your security implementation.
