Resending failed e-mail transactions

Use this procedure to edit and resend e-mails that failed to reach their destination and are currently in the Email Queue in an incomplete state.

To edit and resend an e-mail

  1. Double-click the failed e-mail transaction in the Email Queue.
  2. Edit any fields that prevented successful transmission of the e-mail and resave the e-mail. For example, correct the destination address.
    Note: 

    If a supplier's address is wrong, correcting it here will not change the record. You must access the supplier's record in the Buyer Portal to make the correction permanent.

  3. Select the e-mail message in the queue. Click Actions > Reset to make the e-mail message immediately eligible for resending.

    If you do not reset the e-mail transaction, the queue will eventually reset it automatically and try to send it again.
