About My Reports setup

Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management provides various reports to analyze events and awards and to determine contract efficiency. These reports are made possible through a component of Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI), called Reporting Services, and the Crystal Report Designer. These reports are included in the installation process and are located on the LBI server.

To use Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI) with Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management, the following set up and configuration procedures:

  • Install Reporting Services and OLEDB.

  • Load application reports into Reporting Services as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Create data sources in Reporting Services to run LBI with Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Load the Report Solution Pack as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Create a reports list as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Assign users to reports as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Update reports with your own logo as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Load report parameters with values. Edit the reports in the Crystal third-party reporting tool and publish them to the server as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

  • Enable links to attachments in reports as described in the S3 Supply Chain Management Applications, built with Landmark Installation Guide.

Before a report can be run, certain load programs may need to be run, in order to extract the data needed for each report. The load programs can be found in Utilities > Data Extraction or in Utilities > Rebates for reports on rebates.
