Creating action reasons

Action reasons are used to explain why a specific business action is performed. For example, an action reason may explain why an amendment was created.

To create action reasons

  1. Access Administration > Action Reasons.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Create. Use the following guidelines to enter field values.
    Subject

    Required. Select the business subject to associate with the action reason.

    Effective Date

    Select a date that the action reason becomes effective.

    Action Reason

    Required. Type a code for the action reason.

    Description

    Type a description for the action reason.

    Status

    Select the Active checkbox to make the status active.

  3. Click Save.
