Creating amendments and addendums
Creating an amendment lets you make changes to a contract for pricing and additional changes to the contract but does not allow changes to Articles and Terms and Conditions. For example, if the unit cost of an item changes, the new information can be entered and an amendment can be created for the contract.
Creating an addendum lets you make changes to a contract including Articles and Terms and Conditions as well as pricing and additional changes. Changes to Articles and Terms and Conditions require a new document that is an addendum to the original contract. For example, if a contract term needs to be added or changed, the term can be defined and a new document can be created.
For both amendments and addendums, the originating contract must be in the Active state.
