Updating blank item numbers on contracts

If item numbers are automatically assigned in the Lawson Inventory Control application, you can run a set action that updates any contract lines and associated records that have new item master numbers.

Note: 

Monitor set action programs using My Actions. Select your action in the list and the Action Instances region shows the progress or status of the action. Once your action finished, it will disappear from the form.

To update item numbers on contracts

  1. Access Utilities > Update Blank Item Numbers.
  2. Select the Contract Group.
  3. Optional. You can use the Schedule... button to set the set action to run regularly (for example, every evening) to keep new item numbers updated.
  4. Select OK.
