To create an event from a contract

  1. Access the Event Creation tab.
  2. In the Available Contract Lines region, click Actions > Create Event Worksheet By Contract.
  3. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Contract Group

    Required. Select a contract group from which you want to create an event worksheet.

    Contract

    Required. Select a contract from which you want to create an event worksheet.

  4. Click OK.
    Note: 

    The contract that you selected displays in the Selected Contract Lines region. When you create an event, all the available lines for the contract are included on the event.

  5. In the Selected Contract Lines region, click Actions > Create Event.
  6. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Company

    Required. Select a sourcing company to assign the event to.

    Event Name

    Required. Type a name or title for the event.

    Apply Template

    Select a template to apply to the event.

    Buyer

    Select a buyer to assign to the event.
