Voiding a task

You can void a task for an open period if you determine that it is no longer needed for that period. A task can be voided when it is either in a Scheduled or In Process status. It will go to Voided status and remain visible for the period. If a task is voided in error, it can be re-opened.

  1. Select Close Setup > Manage Process and click the View Schedule tab.
  2. Select the open period in the top panel and select the corresponding scheduled task in the bottom panel.
  3. Right-click the task and click Void Task.
  4. If a reason code is required for voiding a task, select a reason code and optionally specify any comments. Click OK.
