Monitor cash position

Monitor cash position lets the user monitor the amount of money they have by different categories.

1. Actual Cash Balances tab shows the latest previous day statement ending balance (ledger balance). Cash Balances may be viewed by location by clicking on Actual Cash Balances By Location.

2. Projected Cash Balances tab shows cash position worksheets for intraday statements. For more information, see Creating a cash position worksheet for intraday bank statements.

3. Activity Analysis tab shows cash position in the panels:

   Panel	Function
   Daily Activity	Shows a daily summary of the various cash accounts, including the beginning balance, receipts, disbursements, and ending balance. Click an account to view the categories for the account. Click the Details link to view the same information in graphic form, change the date, or change the period for which you want to view the data.
   Ending Balance Trend	Shows the ending balance trends of cash accounts over the last six days. Click the Detail link to view the ending balance trends by year, change the date, or change the time span for which you want to view the data.
   Ending Balance By Account	Shows a graphic summary of receipt and disbursement activities for all cash accounts in the finance group. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Total Activity By Category	Show cash account transactions based on receipt and disbursement categories. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Total Receipt & Disbursement Activity	Shows only receipt and disbursement activities of cash accounts. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Net Activity Trend	Shows cash account net activity trend over the last six days. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Net Activity By Institution	Shows a graphic summary of cash account activity by institution. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Net Activity By Location	Shows a graphic summary of cash account activity by location. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Net Activity By Resource	Shows a graphic summary of cash account activity by resource. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
   Net Activity By Legal Entity	Shows a graphic summary of cash account activity for a legal entity. Click the Detail link to view detail information, as well as information for a different date or time span.
