Creating custom groups for AP Invoice Automation

You must have administrator privileges to perform this task.

In AP Invoice Automation, custom groups can be used in two areas:

• When you create resources, you can load a group of employees from Infor Lawson Human Resources. For example, you can create a group of employees from a specific department.

• When you create an invoice assignment rule or an invoice routing rule, you select an invoice group. The rules that you create will apply only to the invoices included in the group that you associate with the rule. For example, you can create a custom group for a specific vendor. When you select that custom group for an invoice assignment rule, the employee you select on that invoice assignment rule will be assigned all the invoices for that vendor.
