XML file remains in Sales Invoice Outbox folder

Cause Symptom Solution
When the Sales Controller starts, it looks for a file named Locally_IT_SDI_SalesInvoice.pid in the CFG folder. If the file is found, the controller will not start as only one instance of it may run at a time. XML invoice data hangs in the Outbox folder. Perform these steps:
  1. Check if PID file exists in the CFG folder of the controller. If it exists, Run End Sales Controller.
  2. Check if the controller is running in Windows service. If it is not running, start the service.
  3. Restart Sales Controller.

If the problem persists, you must review the log files to see if there is another underlying problem causing this issue.
