XML invoice file remains in Outbox folder

Cause Symptom Solution
When the controller starts, it looks for a file named Locally_GB_MTD_VAT.pid in the CFG folder. If the file is found, the controller will not start as only one instance of it may run at a time XML invoice data hangs in the Outbox folder. Verify these details:
  • Check if PID file exists in the CFG folder of the controller. If it exists, Run End UK Tax Authority Controller.
  • Check if the controller is running in Windows service. If it is not running, start the service.

  • Restart UK Tax Authority Controller.

  • If the problem persists, you must review the log files to see if there is another underlying problem causing this issue.
