Burst a notification that contains text used to create valid email addresses

Follow these steps if the data for your notification contains text that can be used to create valid email addresses.

For example, a column in your InfoSet contains text such as John.Smith and email addresses at your company use a John.Smith@company.com format.

  1. Create a notification and select data from the InfoSet that includes the text.
  2. On the Notifications wizard, go to the Bursting tab.
  3. Select the table containing the text.
  4. Select the column that contains the text.
  5. For Generate email addresses by, select Creating addresses using a format.
  6. Specify the format for the email address. For example, %1@company.com.
  7. Click Save.
