Working with the system configuration

The system configuration for your installation is contained in a database and can only be updated by using one of these utilities. These utilities can be launched using the Admin button on the main toolbar.

• The System Settings Tool provides the easiest way to modify the most commonly used settings in your system.

  The Data Engine Settings tool enables you to configure various settings relating to auto-loading data into the system and cache settings to use.

• The System Configuration Assistant enables you to modify other settings in your system. For more information, see the Infor BI for Lawson Installation Guide.

  The Install Validator sets up and checks the validity of the entries in your system configuration. For more information, see the Infor BI for Lawson Installation Guide.
