Republishing a report

When you republish an RPT report, you create a new version of the master report file. All future report instances reflect new version of the master. the system does not update instances of the previous version.

The republished report retains the original report's properties, data settings, schedule, and permissions. Republishing a report overwrites the existing report, even when you modify the report's name.

  1. Open the Tools dashboard and select My Reports. The Reports screen is displayed.
  2. Click the details of the report to print. The Reports screen is displayed.
  3. Select Report Actions > Republish. The Republish a Report screen is displayed.
  4. Specify the report file's path name or click Browse to locate the file.
  5. Click Save.
