Testing email delivery to a specific user or role

  1. Open the Tools dashboard and select Report Administration. The Reporting Services Administration screen is displayed.
  2. Select Server Administration > Email and Printer Settings. The Delivery Administration screen is displayed.
  3. Select Device Tools > Delivery Test. The Delivery Test screen is displayed.
  4. Specify the name of the device owner whom you want to receive a test message. The role must exist in the system's authentication file. To send a test message to all users in a role, specify the role name and check Is Role.
  5. Click Send. A message stating whether the delivery of the test message was successful is displayed.
