Update horizontal scaling

Use these steps during an upgrade installation.

  1. Upgrade Infor BI for Lawson. See Infor BI for Lawson Upgrade.
  2. Perform a second installation using this criteria:

    • Select Update Existing Products.

    • Select Smart Notification as the product to update.

    • Select the check box for Slave Configuration Update on the Database Repository screen.

    Note: You must select this check box for a successful update of horizontal scaling.
  3. Complete the installation.
  4. Run the secondary server Install Validator. In a browser, type:

    http://servername.mycompany.com:port/lsn/admin/installvalidatorSlave.jsp

  5. Verify the memory settings. For instructions see Setting Memory Allocation.
