Create a notification
- Launch Smart Notification and log in as an administrator.
- Click Notifications.
- Click Add.
- Click Go.
- Click the Range link for the Install Test InfoSet.
- When data displays, click Add.
- Click [All] for Items to display and click Select.
- Click OK.
- Click Step 3 (Delivery).
- Select Email.
- Click Step 5 (Save).

In the field next to the drop-down box, enter Install Test

Indicate notification is only a test
- Click Save New Item.
- Click Personal Settings.
- Click Delivery Devices.

Under Your Devices, click the Edit link for the email device.
Note: If an email device does not exist, click Add Device to add one.

Edit the email information:
- Name

Email
- Type

The email type for the system.

The email address you are using for the installation test.

Click Update.
Note: If you created this email device, click Add.
