Knowledge Prerequisites

To install this product, you must:

• Know how to create databases and users in the selected repository database.

• Understand the directory structure of the Infor Lawson system.

• Understand the architecture of the Infor Lawson system, including whether your system is installed in a local or remote configuration.

• Understand J2EE architecture and terminology.

• Have basic WebSphere administration knowledge.

• Have system administrator experience in the operating system where you are installing the product.

• Know how to install, operate, and troubleshoot the application server, web server or servlet container used at your site. This document provides Infor requirements for the web server and servlet container, but it does not provide step-by-step instructions.
