Change the Smart Notification authentication

Use the steps below to change Smart Notification to use Framework Services authentication.

  1. Launch the Smart Notification Installation Validator from:

    http://servername.mycompany.com:port/lsn/admin/installvalidator.jsp

    For example:

    http://europe.lawson.com:9080/lsn/admin/installvalidator.jsp

  2. Click Show All Tests.
  3. Under System Configuration Settings, Test Number 2, click the link.
  4. Under Authentication Provider, specify this information:
    Drop-down box

    Select Framework Services.

    EFS Base URL

    Provide the fully-qualified URL for Framework Services. For example:

    http://servername.mycompany.com.com:port/efs

    EFS JNDI Name

    Provide the JNDI value for Framework Services. For example: jdbc/LawsonFS

    Administrative Group

    Provide the Admin Role established for authentication in Framework Services.

  5. Click Save Changes.
  6. Restart the application server.
