Configure the database: advanced SQL configuration

Note: If you are using Oracle as your database server, skip these steps.
  1. On the MSSQL Framework Services Database User Settings screen, specify this information for Framework Services.
    Note: The database prompt panels and WebSphere configuration panels apply to Advanced SQL configuration. If you did not check the Advanced SQL configuration check box, or are using the defaults for your installation, skip this step.
    Host system where the Framework Services database resides

    Replace the default value with the name of the MS SQL Server server. The name usually takes the form MyServer.MyCompany.com, for example: d2kp.lawson.com.

    Port number on which the database server listens

    Provide a valid port number. The default is 1433.

    Name of the Database

    Provide the name of the Framework Services database that was created in SQL Server.

    Name of the User login

    Provide the name of the Framework Services user that was created in SQL Server.

    Password for the User login

    Provide the password of the Framework Services user that was created in SQL Server.

    Click Next.

  2. On the MSSQL Reporting Services Database User Settings screen, specify this information for Reporting Services.

    Replace the default value with the name of the MS SQL Server server. The name usually takes the form MyServer.MyCompany.com, for example: d2kp.lawson.com.

    Port number on which the database server listens

    Provide a valid port number. The default is 1433.

    Name of the Database

    Provide the name of the Reporting Services database that was created in SQL Server.

    Name of the User login

    Provide the name of the Reporting Services user that was created in SQL Server.

    Password for the User login

    Provide the password of the Reporting Services user that was created in SQL Server.

    Click Next.

  3. On the MSSQL Smart Notification Database User Settings screen, specify this information for Smart Notification.

    Replace the default value with the name of the MS SQL Server server. The name usually takes the form MyServer.MyCompany.com, for example: d2kp.lawson.com.

    Port number on which the database server listens

    Provide a valid port number. The default is 1433.

    Name of the Database

    Provide the name of the Smart Notification database that was created in SQL Server.

    Name of the User login

    Provide the name of the Smart Notification user that was created in SQL Server.

    Password for the User login

    Provide the password of the Smart Notification user that was created in SQL Server.

    Click Next.
