Configure Reporting Services system settings

Optional. Configure additional Reporting Services system settings at installation.

Note: For more detailed information about these settings, see the Reporting Services Administrator and User Guide.
  1. Click Report Repository and Other Settings on the Reporting Services installation verification screen.
  2. Add or modify this information, as appropriate for you Reporting Services setup and configuration:
    Repository path

    The repository is the location where all report masters, their instances, and individual publications are stored.

    Repository Available to Report Application Server

    Select TRUE if the Crystal Reports server and Infor BI for Lawson are on two different servers.

    Report Archive Path

    Provide a complete Report Archive Path. For example:

    C:\LawsonDocuments\Archive

    The report archive must be on or available to the Reporting Services server.

    Maximum Report Publish Size

    Specify the maximum report size (in bytes) to be published. If the report exceeds this amount, an error message is generated. Click Default to revert to the default size.

    Document Audit

    Specify True or False to turn the document audit function on or off. For more information on using this feature, see the Reporting Services Administrator and User Guide.

    Framework Location

    This is the URL for the Framework Services application.

    Reporting Service Location

    Provide the fully qualified domain name of where Reporting Services is located.

    Web Page Domain

    Type the Web Page Domain. For example:

    company.com

    Framework Remote Location

    Optional. Provide the fully qualified domain name for Framework Services.

    Note: For end users to access Reporting Services using IIS, configure the IIS web server and then fill in the URL for both Framework Services and Reporting Services.

    If you are not using this configuration, skip this step.

    Reporting Services Remote Location

    Optional. Provide the fully qualified domain name for Reporting Services.

    Reporting Services Administrator Role

    Type the Reporting Services Administrator Role. This role is responsible for the security of system and data. The role that you specify can be any role defined in the Framework Services system. The role name Administrators is used as the default value during the install.

    Default Report Application Server (Crystal Reports Server Configuration)

    Provide the location of the default Crystal server that you plan to use.

    Crystal Reports Server Configuration: Thread Pool Size (number of publications to burst concurrently)

    Select the number of publications to be process simultaneously.

    BackOffice Report Settings: Thread Pool Size (number of reports to burst concurrently)

    Select the number of Back-Office reports to be process simultaneously.

    LSR for S3 Enabled

    Switch on/off rendering of BackOffice Reports in Lawson Smart Reporting format.

    LSR for S3 URL

    URL of the LSR-S3 web application. The format is:

    http://<server>:<port>/lsrcoreweb/LSR

    Default DrillAround Settings

    Choose whether you want to the Reporting Services to expire drill strings in report instances.

    If you select Disabled, drill strings become inactive.

    If you select Enabled, specify when you want drill strings to expire for instances of reports.

    Report Schedule Queue Enabled

    This option is only applicable for new Report Schedules.

    An UNCHECKED option denotes that:

    • The feature is disabled.

    • The Report Schedule queue check box is disabled and cleared in the Report Schedule page.

    A CHECKED option denotes that:

    • The feature is enabled

    • In the Report Schedule page, the Report Schedule Queue check box is:

      • Selected and enabled, if the Default On is selected

      • Clear and enabled, if the Default Off is selected

      • Selected and disabled, if the Forced on is selected.

    Turn all existing schedule to

    On – Clicking this button enables the feature on all existing report schedule. Report Schedule Queue check box is selected and enabled in Report Schedule page.

    Off – Clicking this button disables the feature on all existing report schedule. The Report Schedule Queue check box is enabled and cleared in Report Schedule page.
