InstallAnywhere Installation Requirements

Infor uses the InstallAnywhere program for the Infor BI for Lawson installation. As part of the installation, files are extracted to the Windows temp directory or whatever directory is specified by the TEMP environment variable.

The program includes a check for free disk space on the volume where the temp directory is located. To run the installation program, the program requires disk space that is three times the size of the installation program.

Note: When enough free space is not available, you are prompted to select an alternate location.

For example: If the installer is 300 MB and the temp drive is set to C:\Temp, then you must have 900 MB of free space on the C: drive. If there is not 900 MB of free space, then you are prompted for another location from which to extract itself and install the program.
