Create a new data source
- Navigate to Resources > JDBC > JDBC Providers > MSSQL Data Provider > Data sources.
 - Click New.
 - Specify these values to create a new data source:
           
- Data source name
 - 
              
Provide a name for your data source.
 - JNDI name
 - 
              
For each data source, specify the unique JNDI name for each application:
- 
                
jdbc/LawsonFS for Framework Services.
 - 
                
jdbc/LawsonRS for Reporting Services, if this application is being installed.
 - 
                
jdbc/LawsonSN for Smart Notification, if this application is being installed.
 
 - 
                
 
Click Next.
 - Specify the values for the database:
           
- Database name
 - 
              
The name of the database used for the Infor BI for Lawson application. For example: LawsonFS.
 - Server name
 - 
              
The name of the database server.
 - Port number
 - 
              
The port number used by the database server.
 
Click Next.
 - On the Setup Security Alias screen, click Next.
 - On the summary screen, click Finish.
 - Click Save to save the current configuration.
 - Repeat the steps to create a new data source for Reporting Services and Smart Notification, as applicable.
