Create an Infor BI for Lawson Configuration

  1. In the Infor Smart Office canvas, choose Navigator > Functions > Administration Tools > Profile Editor.
  2. In the Profile drop-down list, select the profile to modify.
  3. From the applications list, select LBI and select Advanced view.
  4. Select Enable LBI configuration. In the Description field, type a description for this configuration
  5. Specify this information for BIRep.
    Port

    Provide the listening port for the LBI server.

    RSPage

    Provide URL to the Reports list on the Reporting Services dashboard.

    For example:

    ersLists.jsp?CMD=GETLIST&STYLESHEET=ersReportsSmrtClnt.xsl

    Host

    Provide the fully-qualified domain name of the server where Reporting Services is installed.

    For example:

    LBIServer.lawson.com

    BaseFolder

    Provide the base directory location of Reporting Services.

    For example:

    /ers

    SSOEnabled

    For LBI with M3 BE, type false.

    -or-

    For LBI with Infor Lawson System Foundation, type true.

    Protocol

    If the LBI server is set up to use HTTP transactions, type http

    -or-

    If the LBI server is set up to use HTTPS transactions, type https

  6. Specify this information for Companion.
    ProductLine

    Type lbi.

    Url

    Provide the fully-qualified domain name (or IP address), port number, and context root for the Companion

    For example:

    http://Server.Domain.com:Port/companion

    If Companion is installed in WebSphere, then the port number is the WAS application server port you set up when you created the WAS profile in LifeCycle Manager.

    If Companion is installed in Grid, then the port number is the HTTP routing port for the Grid where you installed Companion.

    Language

    Type en-us.

  7. Specify this information for BIDash.
    Port

    Type the listening port for the LBI server.

    Host

    Provide the fully-qualified domain name of the server where Framework Services is installed.

    For example:

    LBIServer.lawson.com

    BaseFolder

    Provide the base directory location of Framework Services.

    For example:

    /efs

    SSOEnabled

    If you are using LBI with M3 BE, type false.

    -or-

    If you are using LBI with Infor Lawson System Foundation, type true.

    Protocol

    If the LBI server is set up to use HTTP transactions, type http

    -or-

    If the LBI server is set up to use HTTPS transactions, type https

  8. Specify this information for WebService.
    url

    Provide the URL to the Smart Notifications application. The format is:

    http://Server.Domain.com:SNPort/SNBaseDir

    where

    Server.Domain.com is the fully-qualified name for the server where Smart Notifications is installed

    SNPort is the listening port.

    SNBaseDir is the base directory where Smart Notifications is installed.

    For example:

    http://LBIServer.lawson.com:1400/lsn

  9. Choose Save. When prompted to save the profiles, click Yes.

    When done, click Close.
