Configure a printer device type

  1. In Framework Services, navigate to Tools dashboard.
  2. In the Reporting Services module, click Delivery.
  3. Under Device Type Tools, click Manage Device Types.
  4. Click New Printer.
  5. Specify this information for the printer device type:
    Name

    A name for the printer

    Description

    A description for the printer

    Path to Acrobat

    The path to Adobe Acrobat Reader. For example:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe

    Path to Temporary Directory

    A temporary directory where the temporary print files can be stored. The default is:

    LBI_Home\FS_Home\conf\printTemp

    Temporary File Expire Hours

    Amount of time temporary files remain in the directory. For example, 24.

  6. Click Save.
