Mapping Modules to the Application Server

Before you can run the Installation Validator, map modules to the application servers in WebSphere.

Map modules to these applications:

  • Framework Services

  • Reporting Services, if installed

  • Smart Notification, if installed

  1. From the WebSphere Administrative console navigate to Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise applications > LBI application.
    Note: If the applications are running, select the application and click Stop before mapping modules to servers.
  2. Select Manage Modules.
  3. Select the application to map and highlight the server name from the Clusters and Servers box.
    Note: For Infor BI for Lawson in a Network Deployment configuration, select both the application server and the web server.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Save to save the configuration changes.
  7. If you are using the WebSphere Deployment Manager, then synchronize the nodes.
  8. Navigate to Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise applications.
  9. Select the application and click Start.
  10. Complete the steps in this task for each application you have installed.
