Create an InfoSet

  1. Launch Smart Notification and log in as an administrator.
  2. Click Admin.
  3. Under Data Sources, click Work With InfoSets.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Specify this information for the InfoSet:
    Type

    Lawson DME

    Data Source Name

    Check Use Predefined Data Source and select the data source you created Creating a Data Source.

    DME Query

    The DME query. For example:

    FILE=CUCODES&FIELD=CURRENCY-CODE;DESCRIPTION;NBR-DECIMALS&NOHEADER&OUT=CSV

  6. Click Preview to see if data is returned.
  7. Close the preview window and click Next.
  8. Select Key values from the drop-down boxes.
  9. Click Next and Next again to skip Step 3.
  10. Click New next to the Group Name.
  11. In the script prompt, provide a name. For example: InstallTest. Click OK.
  12. Provide a name in the Name field. For example: Install Test.
  13. In the Description field, enter: Created by Lawson Installer.
  14. Click Save.
