Back up databases and file repositories

  1. Back up existing databases. This is especially important if you plan to experiment with different configuration options.

    Back up these databases:

    • LawsonFS -- This database contains the dashboards.

    • LawsonRS -- This database contains the reporting services.

    • LawsonSN -- This database contains the smart notifications and info sets.

  2. Back up the Reporting Services file repository.
    Note: This directory is usually named LawsonDocuments.

    This file repository contains the published instances of reports.
