Adjust server timeout sessions

If you are receiving server session time-outs with default session time-out values, use the steps below to adjust the settings.

  1. In WebSphere, navigate to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > LBIserverName > Web Container Settings > Web container > Session Management.
  2. In Session timeout, enter a new value in minutes for your session time-out.
  3. Click Apply and OK.
  4. Click Save to save the changes to the configuration.
