Setting up WebSphere to run as a named user

  1. Open Windows Services.
  2. Right click the WebSphere Application Server and select Stop.
  3. Right click the WebSphere Application Server and select Properties.
  4. Click the Log On tab.
  5. Select This Account and select the named user.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart the WebSphere Application Server.
