Creating an LBI WebSphere service account

Perform these steps in the Lawson Security Administrator.

  1. In the Lawson Security Administrator, find or create the account name for the LBI WebSphere Service.
  2. Select Manage Identities for the LBI WebSphere Service.
  3. Specify these values for the [lawson_lbi_machine_service_name] you created in the OSDSSOLBI.xml file.
    DOMAIN USER
    Specify DOMAIN USER=<Domain or Machine Name>/User_Name.
    PASSWORD and CONFIRM PASSWORD
    Specify and confirm a password.
    SID
    Specify SID=<User_SID>, where User_SID is the Security Identifier of the LBI WebSphere process.
  4. Select Edit RM Information for the LBI WebSphere Service.
  5. Set the property Allow to Run AS Different User to Yes.
    Note: This setting enables the incoming server side process to run as the user name provide on the IOS request.
