Creating a device
- On the Central Device Management main page, click New. The Add Device form is displayed.
- In Use device for application, select to which application you would like to add the device.

Specify this information:
For a Framework or Reporting Services device, the required fields are Name, Address, and Device Type. Description is optional.
For a Smart Notification device, the required fields are Name, Address, Device Type, Cascading Device, and Template.
Note: You can click Clear Form to clear the fields and reset the information to their default values. - Click Save. A message is displayed if saving is successful.
- Click Close to return to the main page. A newly created Smart Notification device is automatically confirmed.
