Changing the frequency of automatic synchronization

  1. Open the Tools dashboard.
  2. Click Synchronize Users & Roles. The table on the Synchronize Users and Roles screen shows the numbers of users and roles in the EFS (Framework Services) Repository and in the Authentication Provider. When the numbers are identical, the repositories are in sync.
  3. Select Mark Expired Users and Roles to identify expired users and roles for deletion from the Framework Services repository.
    Note: This check box status is automatically saved and applied to both automatic and manual synchronizations.
  4. Select an automatic synchronization frequency. The selected frequency takes effect immediately.
  5. Click Close. For detailed information about the results of synchronization, see the web server's system log file.
