Creating a child notification

  1. Click Notifications.
  2. Click Add to open the Notifications wizard.
  3. In Select Facts, use search to locate the InfoSet upon which you want to base the notification.
  4. Click the Range link to view the InfoSet to base the notification on.
  5. Select the Make this a parameter check box to create links in the parent notification.
  6. Set up the rest of the notification.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click More Details to show more detailed information relating to the notification.
  9. Under Status, click the This is a 'Root Cause' Analysis check box.
    Note: The check box is displayed if you have selected the Make this a parameter check box for one or more items.
  10. Click Save New Item.
