Working with style sheets
Most of the template tokens are simple and the same formatting that is applied to the token within the template also applies to the delivered content. There are a few cases where this simple formatting cannot be used to control the presentation of the dynamic content.
If you choose to use Cascading Style Sheets (styles), note that although these can be embedded within an html template, some e-mail clients cannot support html content or style sheets within html content.
Even e-mail clients that support styles in html content (for example, Microsoft Outlook) do not support all of the html features that web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer. This includes the ability to reference styles from within html, therefore all styles must be explicitly stated within the html.
