Report event overview
Reporting Services supplies four standard report event types that you can utilize for your report. An event is a user exit that allows for a specific user-defined report task to be performed at a predetermined time.
The standard event types are Report Request Received, Parameter Selection, Parameter Validation, and Report Request Complete. These event types specify when the defined event action should be initialized.
Note: In order to successfully use report events, you must create an event program,
save it, and know the URL to access the program. You then specify that URL on the Reporting Services Events screen.
