Modifying report default permissions

Use this procedure to add or modify a report's default permissions. Only the report owner or an administrator can add or modify report permissions.

When you assign permissions at the report level, all users assigned to the report inherits the permissions. However, you can also add specific override permissions at the user level. The permissions that you assign determine the actions that the user can perform on the report.

Changes to report permissions take affect immediately.

  1. Open the Tools dashboard and select My Reports. The Reports screen is displayed.
  2. Click the details of the report. The Report Details screen is displayed.
  3. Click Default Permissions. The Default Permissions table is displayed.
  4. Check the permissions that you want to assign to the report. Some permissions are checked by default.
