Configuring the Crystal Reports server

These steps allow the Crystal Reports server and Framework Services to communicate.

  1. Launch your Crystal Configuration Manager. From the Windows Start menu, select:

    Crystal Reports Server 2020: Programs > SAP Business Intelligence > Central Configuration Manager

  2. Click Stop.
  3. Right click the Report Application Server to open the Properties settings for the Crystal Reports server. Select the Crystal Reports Server from the list and click Parameters.
  4. Specify this information:
    Option Type

    Select Database from the drop-down box.

    Note: Optionally, set this parameter for optimal performance.
    Max Number of Records

    Select Unlimited.

  5. Click Apply.
  6. Select the Crystal Reports Server from the list and click Parameters.
  7. Specify this information:
    Option Type

    Select Server from the drop-down box.

    Report Directory

    Enter an asterisk (*), replacing any value that might already be there.

    Temp Directory

    Leave this field blank.

    Click OK.

  8. From the Central Configuration Manager, select the Crystal Reports server from the list and click Start.
  9. Contact your CloudSuite administrator to complete the installation.
