Searching for content items

Use this procedure to search for and add a content item, for example, a report, to a dashboard, content module, or content link.

  1. Open the Edit form of the dashboard, content module or content link in question.
  2. On the Content tab, click Search. The Search form is displayed.
  3. Specify the search criteria and select the appropriate places to search. For example, if you are searching for a report, specify the name of the report or the report description and select one or more places to search.
  4. Click the magnifying glass icon to initiate the search. The system returns the results of your search.
  5. Click the radio button corresponding to the items to be added to your content module or dashboard.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Optionally, you can change the title of the item.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Save to save the new content.
