Changes to Startpad applications

Description

File format for startpad files has been changed from .xml to .zip. This change has been done so that icons are packaged along with a startpad whenever a startpad file is being exported or deployed.

It is still possible to import .xml files. During the import. the user will be notified about a creation of a new file with the correct file extension. The .xml file will then be upgraded to a .zip file upon import.

Changes to Profile Editor

Description

New settings have been added to the PF profile to enable or disable the Tracking and Administration options under the Related Menu in the ISO Inbasket. The settings EnableTrack and EnableAdmin are now included.

Changes to Mango UI Settings Editor

Description

A new setting called Enable basic authentication dialog has been added to the Mango UI application settings. When this setting is enabled, a custom basic authentication dialog box is used for web pages that require basic authentication.

This setting should only be enabled if you use the custom basic authentication dialog box and does not rely on the JavaScript callbacks.

Changes to Enterprise Search Application

Description
These new IES features are available starting from IES 10.0.4.x:
  • Auto Suggestion: dynamically displays a list of related search terms. This feature helps a user to select a search term based on the returned related searches. To enable this feature, the AutoSuggest entry must be added in the EnterpriseSearch profile group, and a new binding called “ES_AS_NODE” must be added to Enterprise Search through LCM.
  • “Did You Mean”: checks for spelling mistakes and returns search results similar to the submitted search term. For this feature to work, the “Enterprise Search Spellcheck Status” property must be set to enabled in LCM.
