Adding documents to Infor Document Management in Infor Smart Office

Perform these steps to add documents to IDM in Smart Office:

  1. If you haven't already done so, open IDM Client, which is located in the Navigator.
  2. Click Add Document.
  3. Select type of document you would like to add to IDM.
  4. Drag the document you want to add into the Summary box on the right side of the IDM Client.

    You can also use the Windows command: Ctrl+C to copy a document from Windows, then use Ctrl+V to paste the document into the IDM Client window.

  5. Seelct Advanced to add attributes to the document.
  6. Click Save
