Changing panel settings

  1. From the program for which you want to make panel settings, click Actions > Settings or press F13 (Shift + F1)..
  2. Change any of these options as needed.
    Option What it means
    Opening panel

    Select the panel that should be the first in the sequence for this program. Choices are:

    A = Data entry screen

    B = Browse screen
    Date format Select the data format for dates for this program. Available formats appear in the drop-down menu.
    Panel sequence

    This setting shows the current panel sequence for the current user.

    To add a panel: Click on a panel in the list that you want to add.

    To delete a panel: Use the Backspace key or highlight+Del key to remove it.

    To reorder panel sequence: Type the panel letters or numbers in the sequence that you want them to appear.

    Note: When you reorder panels, bear in mind that panel sequence can affect operation of the program. Make sure you know what effect reordering will have before you do it.
    Cfm with Enter If you want updates to be confirmed by pressing the Enter key, enable this setting.
    Max. no. records

    This setting determines the maximum number of database records that will be displayed.

    If the number of records meeting the criteria is found, the program issues a warning message and does not display the data. You can extend the maximum by selecting F13/Parameters.
