Attaching your link to Related Information

  1. From the panel or program for which you want to create Related Information, click Tools > Related Information.
  2. On the Related Information dialog box, select the link to a document that you created in an earlier step.
  3. If you want the view to respond to selection changes (for a list that is available on a panel, select the Sync with List option.

    For example, if the related information is an image, the image displays until the list is updated with a new record for which the image is not a match.

  4. Select Keep information from current panel if you want the related information to display as you move through panels in the program.
  5. Closing the program window with Related Information open will reopen the Related Information next time.
  6. Closing the Related Information before the program window will turn off the Related Information view. If the Related Information settings is cleared by clicking the Clear button before the program window is closed, it will turn off the Related Information view. To view it again, open it from Tools > Related Information.
