Using the Communicator widget

The Communicator widget implements built-in collaboration through web sockets technology, which makes instant messaging efficient. Through the Communicator widget, users can do these tasks:

• Search for other users in Smart Office
• Add or remove users in the Contact group or Favorites group
• Drag and drop users from the Communicator widget to the canvas
• See the current status of other users
• Select to only display users that are currently using Smart Office (online)

The collaboration feature is integrated to Smart Office and only allows users to collaborate with other users in the same Smart Office installation.
