Saving search queries in MForms

Note: The ability to save search queries in MForms requires Infor Enterprise Search.

A search query can be saved as a shortcut. This action will save the search query performed. It will not save the list of search results.

Perform these steps to access the Save Search Query window:

  1. Specify a search term into the search field and press Enter.
  2. On the tab located above the list of search results, select the arrow.
  3. Select Save Search Query...
  4. Select a save option.

    The Save Search Query window provides several different options:

    • Save in Search Field Menu - Saves the search query in the search field drop-down menu.
    • Save as Shortcut on the Canvas- Creates a shortcut to the current search query on the canvas.
    • Save as Shortcut in the Toolbox Area - Creates a shortcut to the current search query in the Toolbox Area.
    • Save as Outlook Task - Creates a task in Outlook with a link to the saved search query.
  5. Specify a name for the search query.
  6. Select Save.
