Custom List widget

You can create your own list with links and check boxes.

Perform these steps to create a Custom List widget:

  1. From the Show menu, select Widget Library > Custom List.
  2. In the Custom List widget, click the Settings icon.

    In the Settings for Custom List dialog box, you can import, export, or edit a list.

  3. To import a list, click Import List.
    1. Browse the location of the saved list that you want to import.
    2. Click Open.
  4. To export a list, click Export List.
    1. Select a name for the list to be exported. It will be exported in an XML file format.
    2. Select a location to save the List in.
  5. To edit a list, click Edit List.
    1. Specify this information In the Custom List dialog box:
      List title

      Specify a title for the custom list.

      Add button (+)

      Click the (+) button to add items to the list.

      Item title

      Shown in the list for each list item. An item can optionally have a check box in front of its item title.

      Item description

      A description for that specific list item.

      Item link

      A link to either an M3 or Lawson form or an http-link.

      Open link in external browser

      If the check box is selected, the link will be opened in an external Web browser. If this is clear, the link will be opened in Smart Office.

    2. Click Save.
